Traveling to Australia was my goal from the first day - but where would I stay? The idea of work and travel acctracted me, but not my mum (you know, that kind of lovely, caring mum, that doesn't want her little baby to be all alone in the wild outback). But I had other options. Since I love to be with children, I thought about being an Au Pair. Sooner I always thought, that as an Au Pair you are kind of a housekeeper, a nanny and a cleaning lady, because of videos and and blogs of au pairs that I found on the internet. But lately my mind has changed. I heard from friends, who did an Au Pair year, that they had a great family and that they couldn't be happier with their decision to be an au pair. So I searched for agencies, that place au pairs in Australia. After weeks of researching, I found an agency, that was smaller than the others and that seemed reliable: AU PAIR IN AUSTRALIEN. I wrote an e-mail with some questions and on the next day I had an answer! The women, who work there, are german but live in Brisbane in Australia. It was so easy to communicate with them. I also talked with them on the phone and they helped me with all my questions and worries. They even send me christmas greetings! After I mailed them my application (which was very fun to write, especially the motivational writing) I waited for like...2 or 3 month and I got my first family offer! But I don't want to say too much yet... more to come!!
Have a good day, Mates!
