I LOVE MY LIFE!

How lucky can anyone be to live a life just like I do? I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be in Australia, to live with the most awesome australian family and to have the beach right next to me!

Today I was walking the cute, lovely dog of my hostfamily and we were stopping at the beach to lay down, to play in the sand, to read a book and just enjoying this beautiful sunny day. On our way back we saw a brown snake, first time I saw a wild one here in Down Under!!

Afterwards I decided to go surfing at Cabarita, because I saw at coastelwatch.com that the waves looked pretty nice and good for beginners. So I grabbed my surfboard, a towel and my wetsuit and jumped into the car. Music on, world off. What a nice day alraedy!

The surf was really good - I stood up a lot of waves and worked on my technique. On my way back home I listened to my favourite song rn (Afterglow _ Juliander). I felt the breeze in my hair and the sun on my skin. And everything was perfect. And I just thought: I love my life! I love it in Australia as well as in Germany. Yes, I do miss my family and my friends and of course my boyfriend in Germany - but I know, that I will miss the people here as well! My hostfamily, the dog, my friends and of course the beach. I can't imagine NOT going to the beach every morning, to feel the wind in my hair und listen to the sound of the ocean. Why can't I just combine these two lifes??

Well, I will enjoy this time as much as possible, because even though sometimes things change - it is still my life and I love my life.
